Smart Solutions for a Smart World!
Protecting the lives of our citizens from an intrusive event by a terrorist threat is a complex yet high priority protection challenge that is faced both at home and around the world. After the terrorist attacks against the USS Cole and the events of 9-11, the US Military began investigating solutions that would increase security and accountability and at the same time provide convenience to personnel while reducing the overall manpower.
Beacon has had the unique opportunity to work on behalf of the US Navy with the focus of developing Smart Technology for use in Force Protection, Physical Security and Anti-Terrorism. The solutions developed through these projects have included SmartGate, SmartBrowTM/SmartPAC, the Mobile Sentry Suite, Smart Card interoperability, and a Security Technology Catalog for ATFP.
