Salisbury University's Alumni Services had a vision for providing a host of online services to their members as well as attracting new members to the various chapters around the country.

Beacon was brought on board to create a dynamic environment that would allow for a global perspective with local focus. Working closely with the Alumni Services staff and their chapter officers the site was created which allows visitors to easily find chapter information and hosted events in their area. All events are managed by the Alumni Services staff who can select which chapter areas will display event information. Alumni members and guest can register and pay for events hosted by any of the chapters.

Additionally, a custom newsgroup forum was added that allows alumni to join and select what topic areas they want to be involved in.

The Results

Interest in becoming an active member in a local or regional chapter of the Salisbury University Alumni Association has increased tremendously. Graduates of the university appreciate the benefits of being able to stay in contact with other alumni via the web site.
