Beacon worked closely with the CNO's security technology team at NCIS to develop a wireless, handheld computer (PDA) solutions for cardholder validation and access control for use by military security personnel to increase security in areas where traditional methods can’t reach.
Mobile Sentry runs on most any portable, handheld or palm device and is backwardly compatible so it supports today’s Common Access Card (CAC), older military ID style card as well as the next generation smart cards.
Mobile Sentry is integrated with many of today’s popular integrated security management systems (ISMS) and provides a live, direct connection to cardholder records and access privileges. Mobile Sentry provides user action recommendations based on the cardholders privileges and the security level of that location.
Because Mobile Sentry is fully integrated into the ISMS, these handheld devices can control doors, swing/sliding gates, gate arms, or bollards exactly like any other reader in the system.

Force Protection personnel can be extremely mobile while having the ability to monitor access to the installation
